This website is operated by The Place We Love ("we", "us", "our"). We sell personalized city map posters as digital downloads and printed products. You can reach us at .

2. What data we collect

When you place an order, we collect:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your email address
  • Your delivery address (for print orders)
  • Your order details (product, size, style, personalization text)

We do not collect payment details. Card and payment data is processed directly and securely by Stripe — we never see or store it.

We do not require you to create an account.

3. Why we collect it

We use your data solely to:

  • Process and fulfill your order (digital download or print)
  • Send your download link and order confirmation by email
  • Deliver your print to the address you provided
  • Contact you if there is a problem with your order

We do not use your data for marketing, advertising, or profiling. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third parties.

4. Who we share data with

To fulfill your order we work with the following processors:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe handles your payment and is independently PCI-DSS certified. stripe.com/privacy
  • Gelato — print production and shipping for physical orders. Your name and delivery address are shared with Gelato solely for fulfillment. gelato.com/privacy-policy
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (order confirmation, download link). resend.com/privacy

All processors are contractually bound to use your data only for the purpose of fulfilling our service to you.

5. How long we keep your data

We retain order data (name, email, address, order details) for a maximum of 3 years for administrative and legal purposes, after which it is deleted. If you request deletion earlier, see Section 7.

6. Cookies and tracking

This website uses cookies for essential functionality only (storing your currency and unit preferences locally in your browser). These preferences are never sent to our servers.

Marketing cookies (Meta Pixel): We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our website. This only activates if you give explicit consent via the cookie notice shown on your first visit. If you decline, no marketing cookies are placed. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or cookies.

When the Meta Pixel is active, anonymized event data (page views, purchases) is shared with Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. under Meta's data processing terms. See Meta's Privacy Policy.

We do not use Google Analytics, advertising networks, or any other third-party tracking outside of what is described above.

  • Object to processing of your data
